Hey guys! So, even though this wasn't my first time meeting Binko, I figured it would still be fun to share my story! Like many of you, I was a big fan of his during his BlogTV days (even before his reality show). Pretty sure I have all of his merchandise and memorabilia... not like a stalker shrine or anything, but I do!
Anyway, the first thing we did was head over to Canada and play at the Caesar's Palace casino in Windsor. Not gonna lie, we were pretty amazing at the Blackjack tables... but unfortunately neither of us know when to stop. Lol. After we were done at the casino in Canada, we went to one in Detroit just so we could play on the Ellen slot machine. Put in $20 and walked away with $163.20!
If you saw his video on Facebook, I'm sure you heard we almost got arrested in between these casino trips at the border... but in case you haven't... here's what happened: www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10203239498820712&pnref=story
In between our many Starbucks runs, we went to Kohl's on Thursday and totally scored on the clearance rack! Aside from the $10 in Kohl's cash we earned, we saved $195. That's pretty freakin amazing if you ask me! The highlight was watching him squeal like a little girl when he found a $2 shirt. It's funny, because his fashion is so modern that you wouldn't expect him to be a bargain buyer, but he said it's like a "treasure hunt". It's scary because I think I heard someone say that on an episode of Hoarders before. Lol.
His new boyfriend drove from Chicago to Detroit to come spend the night, so that was cool! I was excited to meet him because Steven hasn't shut the hell up about Tim since he got here. Lol. We all went to the casino and played some blackjack. Individually, everyone was losing money, but once we all sat down together, we were up a few hundred dollars. We even made a few friends at the table.
For Valentines Day on Saturday, Tim and I made Steven cook us French toast while we watched Law & Order SVU. The best part? Nutella in the middle of the French toast!
Seriously though, I've known Steven for a long time... I don't think I've ever seen him this happy. I know a lot of you were criticizing their relationship on Facebook (when he changed his status), but I had a chance to see them together, and they're madly in love. It's the kind of mushy fairytale crap that only happens in movies.
To be honest, I think my favorite part was our night at the Laundromat. I'd tell you everything that happened there, but I think these photo's speak for themselves:
Other than that, we did some of the tourist stuff, but nothing too exciting. There's not really that much to do in Detroit in the middle of Winter. So yah, that's my story! Sadly, like all other things, everything must come to an end... but I loved every moment of it!
